He has been instrumental in leading disaster recovery operations for Hurricane Ivan in the Cayman Islands in 2004 and Hurricane Maria in 2017.
Ed orchestrated the mobilization of hundreds of skilled workers and managed the logistics for equipment delivery, specifically utilizing barges from the Port of Tampa and the Port of Jacksonville, ensuring effective recovery operations. His strategic planning was instrumental in facilitating the mobilization of resources, significantly contributing to the rebuilding efforts in the affected areas.
